Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms govern your use of the Executive Chauffeurs UK website. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions of Booking, which cover the chauffeur service itself once a journey is confirmed.

These policies are published in good faith and describe how Executive Chauffeurs UK works in practice. They are reviewed annually and reissued sooner where our operation or the law changes; the date at the head of each page shows when the current version was issued. If anything here is unclear, or you need a detail that is not published, our client service desk will answer on WhatsApp at +44 7775 554848 or through the contact page.

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Executive Chauffeurs UK, a chauffeur business registered in the United Kingdom and working across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Where these terms refer to we, us or our, they refer to that business.

By browsing this website, submitting an enquiry or requesting a quotation you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We recommend that you keep a copy for your records, because the version published here is the version that applies at the time you use the site.

These website terms are separate from the contract for chauffeur services. Once a journey is quoted and confirmed, the Terms and Conditions of Booking govern that journey, and where the two documents differ on a matter of travel the booking terms take precedence.

2. Permitted use of the site

You may use this website to research our services, read our published guidance and contact our client service desk about travel. You may print or download extracts for your own reference or for the internal purposes of your organisation, provided you do not alter them and you retain any notices of ownership.

You must not use the site in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, or that attempts to gain access to systems or data you have no right to see. Automated harvesting of content, systematic copying of pages and any attempt to introduce malicious code are all prohibited.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free from interruption, and we may change its structure, content and functionality at any time.

3. Enquiries, quotations and confirmation

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance. Prices, vehicle classes and availability shown or described here are indicative. A journey is priced only when our client service desk issues a quotation for the specific route, timing and vehicle class you have asked about.

Quotations are fixed and confirmed in writing before travel. A figure discussed informally, or an indicative range seen on the site, does not bind either party. It is the written confirmation that sets the price and the terms of the journey.

Where the site describes a particular vehicle, the class is confirmed but the specific model is subject to availability on the day. We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent or higher standard where operational circumstances require it.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, layout, photography, graphics and the arrangement of our published guidance, is owned by us or licensed to us. Our name, logo and brand marks are protected and may not be used without our prior written consent.

You may quote short extracts of our written guidance with clear attribution and, where published online, a link to the source page. Republishing substantial parts of the site, or reproducing it in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation, is not permitted.

5. Accuracy of published information

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, particularly the operational guidance covering airports, routes and timing. Even so, travel conditions change, and nothing published here should be treated as a guarantee of journey time, road conditions or terminal arrangements.

Guidance articles are written for general information. They do not take account of your particular circumstances and are not a substitute for professional advice on tax, immigration, security or any other specialist matter.

If you find something on the site that appears to be out of date or incorrect, please tell our client service desk through the contact page or on WhatsApp at +44 7775 554848 so that we can review and correct it.

7. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way that the law does not allow. In particular, nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of this website, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings, and for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you used the site.

Liability arising from a confirmed journey is dealt with in the Terms and Conditions of Booking and in our insurance arrangements, which are summarised on the Licensing and Insurance page.

8. Changes, law and contact

We may amend these terms from time to time. The date at the head of this page shows when the current version was issued, and the version published when you use the site is the one that applies to that visit.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here affects the statutory rights you hold as a consumer.

Questions about these terms, and any formal notice required under them, can be raised through the contact page or with our client service desk on WhatsApp at +44 7775 554848.
